Karel Lukas, has been a member of senior leadership teams and has more than 25 years experience in the networking and data center industries. He has experience in building teams, leadership, aggressive growth management, and business turnarounds in both US-based and international technology businesses. Throughout his career, he has created entrepreneurial and highly motivated teams with diversity of skills, vision and a "can do" attitude. Karel understands that by working closely with his clients as a partner and consultant, he can identify and acquire the “right” talent.
Karel was Chief Operating Officer for Yugma, a Software-as-a-Service web collaboration company. Prior to that, Karel held sales, marketing, and technical leadership roles including VP Global Product Management at Global Crossing (now Level 3), VP Product Development at Mpower Communications (acquired by TelePacific), VP Marketing at Norstan (acquired by BlackBox), and VP of Level 3 Communications’ Solutions Group. Karel began his career in AT&T Bell Labs and then worked in several technical and business development roles in the US and internationally. Karel received his Master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (“Georgia Tech”) and his Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Pratt Institute. Karel speaks English, Spanish, and Italian.
